One New Jersey moving company has started a charity to help bring food to food banks. The food comes from people who are moving and would otherwise throw out extra nonperishable food from their pantry.
The charity, Move For Hunger, started in 2009 to link moving companies with area food banks to help people donate food that they wouldn’t be taking with them during a move. Now the company operates across the United States and Canada.
