Twelve years ago, after the loss of her husband and a brush with death from colon cancer, Catia Lattouf turned her Mexico City apartment into a sanctuary for sick hummingbirds.
Since that day, Catia has made her home a place where sick, injured or infant hummingbirds can find a home, often caring for dozens at a time.
While caring for these vital pollinators, Catia also started a foundation to train the next generation of hummingbird whisperers!
