Gary Sinise has done a lot for veterans over the years with the Gary Sinise Foundation. Now, with the Avalon Network, Gary Sinise is aiming to help heal the mental scars of veterans and first responders.
The Avalon Network seeks to help the 30% of first responders dealing with depression and post-traumatic stress, as well as the 1 in 3 veterans who are suffering from mental health issues since 2001.
Gary Sinise has partnered with the philanthropist partners of Home Depot to get the foundation started. The Avalon Foundation will open 20 treatment sites across the US.
