Cancer Survivor Girl Scout Breaks The Record And Gives Proceeds Of 32K Boxes Of Cookies To Sick Kids

Lilly Bumpus survived her battle with cancer when she was 8 and she decided to help other children fight, too.

So, she broke the record for most Girl Scout Cookies sold with 32,484 boxes. She will donate a large portion of the proceeds from the sales to fund childhood cancer research.

After posting to Facebook answering questions, Lilly set up a booth outside her home. She also got worldwide support, with people buying boxes from all over the map.

She also created the Team Lilly Foundation and her proceeds will go to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and more.
