Starting in May, CVS and UPS will be teaming up to deliver medical prescriptions to Florida retirement communities by using drones. This is to help provide safe prescription deliveries amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The partnership between CVS and UPS started last year. With senior citizens in Florida being asked to take special care to stay at home, this is a perfect time to test drone technology as a way of delivering prescriptions while avoiding person-to-person contact.
