Make Your Brain Healthier By Taking Afternoon Naps

Most of us will enjoy a good afternoon nap now and again, but a new study shows that naps can actually benefit your brain health. The study showed a correlation between afternoon naps and improved mental agility & cognitive function as we age.

Of those in the study who napped, they showed much higher cognitive performance vs. those who didn’t nap. Afternoon naps lasted longer than five minutes, but shorter than two hours.

It was noted that taking naps longer than two hours could actually have negative effects.
